Cool off in your own way
After the tingling warmth and soothing heat of a sauna, a good cool-down is invigorating. It's the perfect way to recover from the sauna's effects on your body. Discover our extensive cool-off facilities and cool down the way you want to. Your body will thank you!
Why is it important to cool off after the sauna?
Cooling off is a real pleasure after a hot sauna, but it's also essential given the high temperatures. After leaving the sauna, first walk around in the fresh air. Then visit one of our cool-off facilities to cool your body.
Whichever method you prefer, cooling off is excellent for your body. The heat of the sauna opened your capillaries and the cold closes them again. This is important to prevent a headache. Alternating between heat and cold stimulates circulation and leaves you feeling invigorated and energized. A proper cool-down also enhances the effects of the sauna.
Which cool-off facilities do we offer?
You decide how to cool off: immerse yourself in a 5 °C plunge bath, dive into the pure water of the swimming pond, brave the cold of a wooden bucket shower, or treat yourself to a stimulating ice scrub.
Another way to treat your body to an invigorating cool-down is to visit the Cool-off Cave next to the Sauna Theatre. As soon as you enter the cave, you will find yourself in a thundershower. Cooling down has never been so exciting!
