How long should you stay in the sauna?
How long you stay in a sauna is up to you. The recommended duration depends on the type of sauna, the temperature, and the humidity. In general, we recommend staying no more than fifteen minutes before stepping outside to cool off. You can then return to the sauna if you like. It's important to listen to your body. If you start to feel too hot or lightheaded, step outside (even if you just entered the sauna). Take time to cool off after each sauna.
How hot is the sauna?
The temperature differs per sauna. The Maa Sauna can reach a temperature of 110 °C, while the Finish and Birch saunas generally reach a temperature of 90 °C. The Crystal Sauna is slightly cooler at 85 °C. The Saltarium is around 70 °C. The Infrared Sauna is quite a bit cooler, between 60 and 65 °C. The relatively dry air makes the heat much more comfortable, which is why many people choose to stay in this sauna a bit longer. The Rose Sauna is between 65 and 70 °C. The steam room is only 50 °C, but the extreme humidity makes it feel much warmer.
