Our Garden

Thermen Soesterberg is nestled in a lush, forested area — one of the greenest corners of the Netherlands. That peaceful energy is felt everywhere in our garden. Surrounded by nature, you can fully unwind on one of the comfortable loungers scattered across the sun-kissed lawns. Thanks to the garden’s unique location, the sun has free rein to warm your skin, while the surrounding trees offer privacy, stillness, and a deep sense of shelter.

    • Our Labyrinth lies in a special corner of the sauna garden — an invitation to embark on an inner journey toward the essence of life, symbolising transformation and awareness.
    • At its heart, surrounded by seven majestic trees, stands the Angel of Samothrace — a source of strength that helps you release what no longer serves you and create space for the best version of yourself.

    • On our sun lawn, you can unwind on a comfortable lounger, enjoying the warmth of the sun surrounded by the calming greenery of the garden.
    • For extra convenience, a nearby bar offers refreshing smoothies, freshly made juices, and healthy snacks — perfect for a nourishing break during your day of relaxation.

Our Mongolian yurt

This traditional yurt, made in Ulaanbaatar, was specially crafted for Thermen Soesterberg and serves as a delightful relaxation area.


In Mongolia, the yurt is still used in everyday life today as a home for the local population. It’s ideal because the yurt keeps the heat out in summer and is wonderfully warm in winter thanks to the large wood-burning stove.


During your day at the sauna at Thermen Soesterberg, you can relax here and recharge your batteries. Imagine yourself in another world for a moment and let your mind wander, surrounded by nature. In the evening, enjoy the atmospheric setting with a view of the beautiful starry sky.
Great news: soon you’ll also be able to take part in special rituals and meditations here (completely free of charge!). A wonderful addition to your day at the sauna.
